Samantha & Gareth, Ringwood Hall Hotel, Wedding

Tue Aug 2nd at 11:15 AM
Just over 12 months ago Gareth's planned proposal to Samantha at the summit of Mam Tor, near Carleton in the Peak District came under threat thanks to typical British weather; a glorious downpour. His otherwise scrupulous planning had come undone and a change of proposal venue was in order. The couple dove to the, far drier, Three Roofs Cafe where Samantha said yes.

Which is why, on the 23rd of July, under beautiful sunshine and bright blue skies, we were lucky enough to be able to capture their wedding day.

From the bridal party's 8:30am hair appointment at Eden Hair, through makeup and preparation at Samantha's childhood home, the morning was filled with the kind of laughter and smiles that gives you a warm and fuzzy feeling. The gents, on the the other hand, were ably assisted in their preparation by the Silverstone Grand Prix Qualifying.

A short journey by vintage Rolls Royce to St Thomas' Church in Crookes for a service full of sentiment, courtesy of Samantha's younger brother David's wonderful sermon and music courtesy of the Sheffield Community Choir, with whom the bride's mother normally sings.

It was then over to Chesterfield's Ringwood Hall Hotel for the reception, a stunning venue with a fantastic Master of Ceremonies.

After the Speeches and Wedding Breakfast we stole Samantha and Gareth off for a walk in the beautiful grounds and captured some gorgeous couple portraits before returning them for their first dance as Mr and Mrs Morley.

As the dancing got into full swing, and the Peakography Photo Booth getting busier by the minute, we prised the newly weds from the dance floor for one final night time photo; a moonlit shot in the picturesque pagoda.
